Brady's Fish Restuarants

‘Trying to take fish and chips up-market since way before the gastro-revolution, Brady's has been dishing up affordable seafood suppers to genteel Wandsworth families for 18 years. Decor is a curious hotchpotch of retro aqua and cream wall-mounted menus, and a clean, modern IKEA-like dining room overlooked by a Little Mermaid fresco and massive plastic swordfish. In contrast, the menu's about one thing only: quality produce, simply cooked.

There's a punchy selection of starters, including sweetly pickled herring fillets and anchovies with nary a hint of saltiness. Mains consist of an array of battered fish, served with glass jars of dilly aïoli, basil and mint mayonnaises, tartare sauce and ketchup. It's the often changing choice of grilled fish that stands out, though, with our oregano-scattered lemon sole fillet cooked to chargrilled perfection. The various own-made desserts cost £3.95, with delicious honeycomb ice-cream a highlight; other puds can verge on the school-dinnerish. Service is jovial and neighbourly (although not all staff understand English). Some customers are such regulars that on our visit fellow diners offered menu suggestions. Training & Support
The amount of training you receive will be dependent on your needs, with a minimum of 2 weeks. You will be trained in every element of the operation; Luke and Amelia want to ensure your business succeeds as quickly as possible. You will receive professional guidance in choosing the right location for your premises and then fitting out both the restaurants and kitchens. We help you launch and start building a customer base. As your business develops you will receive ongoing support and guidance at every stage. You will not be alone in your quest to build your business – your success is our success.

Safety in numbers
A ‘Fish Restaurant’ offers a wider spread of opportunities for revenue generation than a traditional ‘Fish & Chip Shop’. The starters, wine, beer and hand-made desserts all provide opportunities to increase your customer’s average spend and encourage repeat visits. The conservative projected figures suggest an achievable turnover of £235,400 in your first year of trading, rising to £271,500 by year 3.

The franchises for sale fee is £7,500 + VAT (£5,000 +VAT for one pilot). You will need at least £32,000 with the ability to borrow as the total investment will range from £75,000 - £100,000 depending on the premises. More detailed information will be available to successful applicants.
